Montaque Gill-Caesar will wait until spring to make a decision on his future.
The 5-star small forward out of Huntington Prep (WV) spoke with Larry Vaught from Vaughts Views about his upcoming decision on not only where to attend college, but to possibly reclassify to the Class of 2014, and attend college a year early. He says he will wait to make the decision to find the ideal fit.
“It will just depend on the school and it will have to be a fit where I know I will excel and make an immediate impact,” Gill-Caesar told Vaught. “That’s the reason I will wait until spring to decide probably unless something just feels really right before then.”
Melvin Swift is a 6-foot-7 power forward from Houston Yates High School who has recently narrowed his college list and will sign in the spring.

My name is Melvin Swift. I live in Houston, TX. I currently attend Jack Yates High School in the Third Ward area of Houston. I played AAU with Houston Select and the Houston Defenders in the past couple of summers. I’m writing this blog to let you guys know what acceptance to attend different colleges has been like.
It’s only the first week of December but unranked North Carolina now has the two best wins of any team in the nation.
And that may remain the case for several months.

Quentin Goodin has confirmed what many Kentucky fans have hoped. If he got an opportunity to play for Kentucky, he would take it.
“I really like Coach (John) Calipari a lot,” Goodin told SNY.tv on Wednesday. “I like how he develops his players, not only the league, but just through the mindset that life isn’t just basketball. He would set me up for life after basketball. I would definitely take the opportunity to play at Kentucky if I got it.”
What are the odds that the No. 1 and 2 picks in the same draft would suffer the exact same injury within the same week?
That’s what has happened to former Kentucky teammates Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist of the Charlotte Bobcats, both of whom are our 4-6 weeks with a fractured left hand.
Davis, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 Draft, fractured his left hand in Sunday’s win over the Knicks and is out 4-6 weeks.
Matt Ryan of New Rochelle (N.Y.) Iona Prep is one of the top small forwards in the Class of 2015.
