    Following their appearance against Providence at the Barclays Center on Sunday, Kentucky will recruit in the area on Monday.

    Assistant coach Kenny Payne will check in at Roselle (N.J.) Catholic, which is loaded with young talent, including 2015 guard Isaiah Briscoe, 2015 forward Chris Silva and 2016 guard Asante Gist.

    “We are excited to have Kentucky coming in to see our underclassmen Monday,” RC coach Dave Boff told SNY.tv. “It shows our kids are drawing attention from the top programs.”

    Fairleigh Dickinson hadn’t beaten Rutgers since 1993 and had not taken down Seton Hall since 2006.

    Now, in the span of six days they have beaten both New Jersey teams.

    “It’s two huge wins for our program, but we’re just starting to win here and it just shows that what we do, we do it hard, we do it right and we do it all the time, and it could be successful for the future,” first-year FDU coach Greg Herenda coach told SNY.tv Sunday after his club won at Seton Hall, 58-54, to improve to 3-6.

    ASHEVILLE N.C.-  Brandon Ingram put on a show Saturday afternoon in a 76-58 win for Kinston (N.C.) over Mount Tabor (N.C.) in the Coaches vs. Cancer classic.

    The 13th ranked player in the country by ESPN, Ingram recorded 31 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, and 6 blocks, but felt like he has a lot of work to do to get where he wants to go.

    “I felt like it was a good game, but there is always room for improvement,” Ingram told SNY.tv. “My communication with my teammates could definitely be improved. People say that I have a lot of potential, and a lot of upside. I’m just working hard right now to get there right now. This junior season is huge, so I’m just working hard.”
