It looks like Rawle Alkins had a quite a visit to New York this past weekend for his official visit to St. John’s.
The 6-foot-4 Brooklyn native and Word of God Academy (N.C.) guard visited with Golden State Warriors stars Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, as well as head coach Steve Kerr during his trip to Madison Square Garden on Sunday.
Alkins attended the day-night doubleheader at the Garden, watching St. John’s lose to Villanova and the Knicks fall to the Warriors. During the St. John’s game, fans chanted, “We want Rawle” and “Raw-le Alkins”
St. John’s pitch to Alkins includes the fact that head coach Chris Mullin is the only coach recruiting him to have played his position in the NBA, and on this trip Alkins was pictured both with current and former NBA players, including Mullin.

He took an unofficial to Arizona last week and still has four officials remaining after the St. John’s trip.
