Jordan Mickey has a top five.
The 6-foot-9 Mickey, the Rivals No. 20 power forward in the Class of 2013 out of Arlington (Texas) Grace Prep, is now considering Ohio State, LSU, SMU, Oklahoma State and Arkansas, his father told SNY.tv Tuesday.
Louisville, which had been in the mix early, is no longer under consideration.
“Louisville was on the table early but didn’t pan out,” James Wright said. “I wish them the best.”

The 6-foot-9 forward posted his second double-double of UCLA’s three-game trip to the Far East, coming up with 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Bruins beat the Shanghai Sharks 92-63 Tuesday night. Sharks team owner Yao Ming met the Bruins after the game and posed for photos.
“I thought that I had a pretty good and complete all-around game,” said Anderson, who had 11 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists in the team’s first game of a 3-0 trip. “It just came along with the team game. It was about getting guys involved and defensive rebounds and doing things to allow the team to win.”
Maryland coach Mark Turgeon saw Abdul-Malik Abu for the first time in late July at the “Live in AC’ event.
Now Abu is ready to put the Terps on his final list.
“Maryland will be one of the schools that will make my top list of schools when I decide to form a list,” Abu said following a visit to Maryland Monday.
Abu, a 6-foot-8 2014 power forward, tripped to Maryland with Expressions teammates Jared Terrell and Alec Brennan, as well as 2015 guard Juwan Gooding.

After decommitting from Temple in June, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound St. Anthony point guard decided to recommit, choosing Temple over Rhode Island, Penn State and Providence.
“I’ll be a Temple Owl,” Brown said in the SNY studio Monday. “I can’t wait to go down there and play in the backcourt with Quenton DeCosey, Will Cummings and Daniel Dingle. I also get a chance to be coached by one of the most underrated coaches, coach Fran Dunphy and his staff. And I’m going to be in Philly, a great place to be.”
Brown’s decision was a sentimental one. He chose Temple in part because his late mother, Kimberley, who died when he was 1 year and three months old, went there.
