As Barclays Center gets set to open on Sept. 28 with the first of eight concerts from Jay Z, the NBA’s release of the league-wide preseason schedule on Wednesday afternoon confirms when the building’s main tenant will make its debut.

Kuran Iverson has set tentative visits to Memphis and Florida.
The 6-foot-9 forward will visit Memphis unofficially Sept. 14 and Florida Oct. 6, according to his AAU coach, Andre Harrington.
Iverson is also planning to visit Syracuse but no date is yet set. He recently took an unofficial to UConn.
“Florida’s showing me a lot of love. I think that might be the best choice,” Iverson told SNY.tv Saturday night following the Big Strick Classic in New York.
Jabari Bird has set dates for four official visits and he could end up playing at Washington alongside high-flying Oakland Soldiers teammate Aaron Gordon.
The 6-foot-6 small forward from Richmond (Calif.) Salesian told SNY.tv Wednesday that he has set four visits, with Cal coming up first.
“My first visit is Cal and then Colorado and Oregon and UW in that order,” Bird said.
Bird will visit Cal the weekend of Sept. 1, Colorado the weekend of Sept. 8, Oregon the weekend of Sept. 22 and Washington the weekend of Sept. 29.
