Michigan State freshman Miles Bridges went off on a one-man dunking rampage Friday night.
The 6-foot-6 Bridges was a solo highlight reel but No. 12 Michigan State lost to No. 10 Arizona, 65-63, on a fullcourt layup by Kadeem Allen in the final seconds in the Armed Forces Class in Honolulu.
Bridges finished with 21 points on 9-of-19 shooting in a game Michigan State led 17-2 at one point.
Freshman guard Kobi Simmons led Arizona with 18 points off the bench and 7-foot freshman Lauri Markkanen added 13 points for the Wildcats, who were playing with eight healthy scholarship players. They were without sophomore guard Allonzo Trier, who is out for undisclosed reasons for an undetermined period of time.
The Spartans are without big men Ben Carter and Gavin Schilling, both down with injuries.
Bridges and Michigan State will be in action Tuesday night against No. 2 Kentucky in the Champions Classic at Madison Square Garen.
