Vermont Academy guard Bruce Brown is focusing on four schools and has two visits set, sources told SNY.tv.
The 6-foot-3 Brown is focusing on Indiana, UMass, Purdue and Miami. He will visit Indiana Oct. 16-18 officially and Miami Oct. 22-24.
This summer, Brown averaged 16.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.9 steals on the Nike EYBL circuit.
Brown did not immediately respond to a text message seeking additional information.
DEVEARL RAMSEY TO NEVADA
Devearl Ramsey, a 5-11, 180-pound point guard from Chatsworth (CA) Sierra Canyon, committed to Nevada and head coach Eric Musselman on Monday.
He also had offers from Michigan, USC, N.C. State, Auburn, Cal, Arizona State and Texas, among others.
“I picked Nevada because it was a good look for me to have an immediate impact as a freshman and play the way I want to,” he told SNY.tv. “Coach Muss is also a big reason why I committed there. He’s a great guy and coach as well. I’m looking forward to playing with the team next year
He added: “My skillset is uptempo. I feel like I can get by anyone who guards me and I can create for my teammates and myself. I can pick up full court and cause chaos on the court, too.”
Ramsey joins 6-8 power forward Kenneth Wooten in Nevada’s 2016 class.
BUFFALO LANDS POINT GUARD JALEN HARRIS
Jalen Harris, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound point guard from Raleigh (N.C.) Word of God Christian Academy, verbally committed to Buffalo
Harris also considered Providence, South Carolina, Louisiana Tech, UNCC and Wright State.
“When I took my official it felt like home,” he said. “Me and Jules [assistant coach Julius Hodge] are really close. I feel with Monte [Lamonte Bearden] we will be a tough backcourt to match up with.”
Harris joins power forward Quate McKinzie in coach Nate Oats’ 2016 class.
“Jalen will bring supreme athleticism and a toughness and craftiness to Buffalo,” Word of God coach Brian Clifton said. “He plays with great pace and is a capable scorer.
“Defensively he is active in the passing lanes as well as being a committed on-ball defender.”

Minnesota assistant Nate Pomeday was at Blair (N.J.) Academy on Monday for 2017s Kodye Pugh and Deng Gak, while Kansas assistant Norm Roberts is expected through later this week.
