    NEW YORK — Much has been made about Kyle Anderson’s pro potential, with ESPN’s Chad Ford telling SNY.tv that the 6-foot-9 Anderson is “the most confusing player to project.”

    But count Knicks center Tyson Chandler among those who think Anderson has a place in the NBA.

    “He’s a big guy and I’m not for sure what position he would be in the league, I’m not sure he could play the point,” Chandler told SNY.tv exclusively after Anderson went for 15 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in UCLA’s 80-63 loss to Duke at Madison Square Garden.

    “But just like the kid out of Syracuse is showing, Michael Carter-Williams, showing that big guys can still play the point and still have a place in this league….It just depends on how [Anderson] continues to develop. He has a little time to develop.”

    NEW YORK — Quinn Cook is enjoying the finest season of his college career.

    The Duke junior is averaging career-highs of 14.6 points, 6.5 assists and 1.5 steals for the No. 8 Blue Devils.

    Yet assuming Cook sticks around Durham for his senior season, he will be joined by another elite point guard in Tyus Jones, the top-rated floor general in the Class of 2014.

    And Jones isn’t coming in to sit on the bench, either.

    So, how will it work? Will Jones and Cook share time at the point? Will Cook surrender minutes to the heralded Jones? Will they spend time together in the backcourt?

    NEW YORK — After a magnificent performance at Madison Square Garden, Jabari Parker dressed three stalls away from Carmelo Anthony’s locker in the Knicks’ locker room and humbly proclaimed that he and Anthony have a few things in common.

    “Yeah, it’s a good comparison,” Parker said after going for 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists as Duke beat UCLA, 80-63, in front of a capacity crowd that included Bruce Springsteen, Tyson Chandler and Tim Hardaway Jr.

    “He mastered the fundamentals. He’s always good at his craft. He works on it and that’s a person I’ve been looking up to, so yeah, that’s  good compliment.”

    NEW YORK — Bruce Springsteen and 45 NBA scouts were on hand at Madison Square Garden Thursday night.

    But Jabari Parker wasn’t impressed by either as he had his own Glory Days, going for 23 points and 10 rebounds in Duke’s 80-63 win over UCLA.

    Asked by a Duke beat writer if he was familiar with any of The Boss’s music, the potential No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft said, “Oh no, that’s ahead of my time.”

    NEW YORK — Jim Boeheim has already said how much Syracuse would love to play in the East Regional at Madison Square Garden come March.

    And if you ask the Duke players, they’d be in favor of it, too.

    “Yep, it would be nice,” Jabari Parker , the potential No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft, said in response to a question from SNY.tv after he wowed a Garden crowd that included Bruce Springsteen, Tyson Chandler and Tim Hardaway Jr. by going for 23 points and 10 rebounds in Duke’s 80-63 win over UCLA.

    “It’d be to our side of course.”
