Two days after landing big man Chinonso Obokoh, Syracuse will officially add 2013 small forward B.J. Johnson of Lower Merion (Pa.).
The 6-foot-7, 175-pound wing will announce his college choice Wednesday afternoon at his school, and is expected to pick the Orange over Temple, Villanova and Rutgers.
“The campus is pretty nice,” Johnson told SNY.tv by phone Tuesday. “More like a city-style campus, and then Orange Madness, the atmosphere I really liked that.”
Guards Jevon Thomas and Jerron Wilbut are both considering Seton Hall after visiting the Big East school for Midnight Madness Friday.
Thomas is a talented 6-foot point guard who previously committed to St. John’s and is now prepping alongside Wilbut at St. John’s Military Academy (Wisc.), the school that produced Seton Hall sophomore forward Brandon Mobley.
“He liked [Seton Hall] and really thought there was a huge opportunity to play next year,” St. John’s Military assistant Bryan Clayton told SNY.tv Tuesday.
In what must only be considered good news for Kentucky fans and those hoping for another superstar class in Lexington, Julius Randle reiterated that he likes the Harrison twins and could imagine playing alongside them.
“I can tell you, 100 percent, that all three of us are cool,” the 6-foot-9 Texas forward wrote on his USA Today blog. “I’ve got the utmost respect for those guys and their games and we’re actually cool with each other. Every time I see them, we talk and hang out so I don’t know where that [rumors that they don’t get along] came from.

Oak Hill wing Troy Williams is headed to Indiana this weekend for Hoosier Hysteria after having visited North Carolina for Midnight Madness last weekend.
“I’m looking forward to it a lot,” the 6-foot-6 Williams told SNY.tv. “I heard a lot about Hoosier Hysteria. I heard there will be a lot of people there and it’s a lot of fun and I think it’s going to be fun.
Uncommitted big man Beejay Anya and committed guard Stanford Robinson are among those expected to join Williams at Indiana this weekend.
GREENBURGH, N.Y. — The Knicks could get one of their walking wounded back this week in shooting guard Ronnie Brewer, but Marcus Camby and Rasheed Wallace have still not been cleared to play.
Brewer is out with a left medial meniscus injury but could return to practice this week.
“Possibly this week, that’s a possibility,” head coach Mike Woodson said Tuesday. “If that can happen, that’s a major plus for us.”
The Knicks play three preseason games in four days beginning Friday against the Toronto Raptors in Montreal. After that they meet the Celtics in Albany Saturday, followed by a date with the 76ers in Syracuse Monday.
Suitland (Md.) point guard Roddy Peters picked his “dream school” in Maryland, choosing the Terps over Rutgers in the end.
“It came down to Maryland and Rutgers,” George McClure, Peters’s high school coach, told SNY.tv Tuesday morning.
“Rutgers was last minute, he went back and forth [between the two schools],” McClure added. “They did a great job of recruiting him. He had a great visit there. They have some D.C. guys on their team so he would’ve felt very at home.”
