Shabazz Muhammad didn’t break any big news during an interview with ESPNU Friday, but he reiterated that he’s not in any hurry to decide.
“I’m not really rushing it right now,” Muhammad said. “I just really want to look at the program. It’s a really big decision for me and it’s a life decision making for college. I’m just looking forward to doing it right and talking to my dad and family and going from there.”
The 6-foot-6 Muhammad is the No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2012. He’s considering UCLA, USC, Kentucky, Duke, Kansas and UNLV, among others.
As first reported by SNY.tv, he will take an official visit to Duke March 3 for the North Carolina game.
Even though UCLA is considered a favorite, his father played for USC and UNLV is the hometown favorite, Muhammad said location was not necessarily a key factor.
