
The Miami superstar ended up lying still on the court and huddling with Miami’s team doctor for several moments before heading to the locker room for X-rays.
“I always [have] fear when I fall on this one because I’ve had trouble before so [I] don’t want that again. Before they take any X-rays, I just wanted to ice it down, let it calm down and it felt better, so I came back out and played,” Wade said after scoring 18 of his game-high 32 points in the second half of Miami’s 111-98 victory over the Knicks.
Wade’s hand was wrapped in ice as he spoke with a crowd of reporters after the game.
