Rutgers junior All-America offensive tackle Anthony Davis of Piscataway is holding a press conference Tuesday at noon at which he is expected to announce his intentions to leave for the NFL, multiple outlets reported.
Two sources told Joe Schad of ESPN.com that the 6-foot-6, 330-pound Davis plans to declare for the draft and that he is projected as a first-round pick and a potential top-10 selection. ESPN’s Todd McShay has him going as high as No. 9.
Davis helped the Scarlet Knights finish 9-4 with a 45-24 victory over Central Florida in the St. Petersburg Bowl.
