WASHINGTON, D.C. — Transferring St. Benedict’s Prep guard Isaiah Briscoe is still weighing his high school options and will soon take another visit.
“We’re going to visit Brewster [Academy],” George Briscoe told SNY.tv at the Nike Global Challenge.
The elder Briscoe said they were also considering Sparta (N.J.) Pope John and Our Savior New American on Long Island.
Briscoe had considered Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep, but they are out.
The 6-foot-2 Briscoe is playing here on the USA East team with Syracuse-bound 2014 forward Chris McCullough, who attends Brewster. The two have a good relationship which could translate at prep school.
Meantime, Pope John lost 2016 point guard Bryce Aiken to The Patrick School and is in the market for a floor general to pair with 2015 forward Moustapha Diagne.
Our Savior has 2015 forward Cheick Diallo, here playing with the Pan Africa team.
Briscoe, a 2015 combo guard, is being courted by Arizona, Seton Hall, UCLA, Baylor, Florida, Syracuse and UConn, among others. He will visit Florida later this summer.
