Larrier Adds High-Major Offers (UPDATED)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — Terry Larrier continues to add offers to his increasingly long list.

The 6-foot-8 Team Scan small forward has picked up offers from Arizona, UConn, VCU, SMU and LSU in recent days, Team Scan coach Terrance “Munch” Williams told SNY.tv at the Peach jam.

UConn head coach Kevin Ollie, VCU head coach Shaka Smart, Arizona’s Sean Miller and Book Richardson, SMU’s Larry Brown and LSU’s Johnny Jones all watched Larrier at Peach Jam.

“There have been so many different schools coming, and every day it’s someone else,” Williams said.

“So at the end of the day, we’re going to just look at everything at the end of July and see what’s on the table. Look at coaching staffs, players/personnel, academics, location, all of the above and try and make sure he makes the right decision before school season starts.”

Wherever Larrier lands, Williams believes they will be getting a rising star. He’s currently the No. 38 player in the Class of 2014, per Rivals.

“He’s going to be an extremely versatile kid,” Williams said. “He’s going to be able to play the two, three and the four in college once he bulks up at the four. I think he’s going to be a team-first kid that likes to win and enjoys that process. He’s going to be a guy that gets better every year in college, until hopefully he goes and plays at the next level.”
