Don Bosco’s Paul Jorgensen Adds 17 Offers in April

Paul JorgensonOne player who really helped himself during the April live period is Don Bosco Prep (N.J.)  point guard Paul Jorgensen.

Coming into April, the 6-foot-2 guard from New Heights had offers from two schools — Vermont and Columbia.

Now he holds 19 offers, including Princeton, George Washington, Quinnipiac, Fairfield, Stony Brook, Florida International, Wagner and New Hampshire.

He also has interest from Creighton, Rhode Island, Hofstra, Drexel, Buffalo, La Salle, St. Joe’s and Harvard.

“Paul is a throwback, gym-rat type player,” New Heights coach Chris Alesi told SNY.tv.

“His greatest strengths are his IQ, his play-making ability and his shooting. At 6-2, he is a pure point guard, but because of his size and ability to stretch defenses with his shooting, he can function very well as a combo guard.”
