Severe to Visit Alabama; Kentucky to See Owootoah Again; Arkansas Watches Vaughn

Here are a couple of quick recruiting notes from Wednesday morning:

**Christ the King senior shooting guard Jon Severe will trip to Alabama Feb. 25-26, head coach Joe Arbitello told SNY.tv. West Virginia assistant Larry Harrison is also expected to watch the 6-foot-2 Severe tonight (Wednesday) when Christ the King plays Holy Cross in the New York CHSAA Brooklyn/ Queens Diocesan Playoffs. Purdue, Tennessee and Rutgers are among the other schools involved, along with Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure, Duquesne and George Washington. Check back here later tonight for more on Severe.

**Kentucky assistant Orlando Antigua is expected to watch 2013 PG Emmanuel Owootoah Friday when Cordia (Ky.) plays in the 14th Region tournament. Cordia coach Rodrick Rhodes had said Antigua would return Friday if Cordia won Tuesday, and Owootoah went for 10 points, eight assists and four steals when Cordia beat Letcher Central, 74-43. West Virginia coach Bob Huggins and a Villanova assistant were in the stands.

**Arkansas coach Mike Anderson watched 2014 SG Rashad Vaughn of Robbinsdale Cooper (MN) go for 31 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and three blocks Tuesday night. Vaughn scored the last 14 points of the game, including the game-winning steal and dunk.
