Indiana Lands Pair

Jordanhulls5_12150It’s been a big day for Tom Crean and the Indiana basketball program.

The Hoosiers landed commitments from PG Jordan Hulls and C Tijan Jobe. Indiana also appears to be the leader for Jeremiah Rivers, the son of Celtics coach Doc Rivers who is transferring from Georgetown, and are also in the mix for 6-10 forward Maurice Sutton of Largo (Md.) High.

A 6-foot, 170-pound junior PG from Bloomington (Ind.) South, Hulls had offers from IU and Purdue.

“The more we talked about it, the more we liked coach Crean’s energy and his vision for the program,” J.C. Hulls told Chris Korman of the Bloomington Herald Times. “He wants to change the culture, and that’s something Jordan wants to be a part of.”

Jobe is a 7-foot, 265-pound C from Olney (IL) Olney Central C.C.

“Coach Crean’s not going to take a guy who can’t come in a help,” Olney coach Mike Burris told Korman. “He fills the need for a front-court player who can come in and be a defensive presence and help out on offense.”
