Harrisons Planning SMU Visit This Fall

Andrew and Aaron Harrison are still setting up visit dates leading up to their Oct. 29 college announcement, but they plan on getting to SMU sometime this fall.

“Yeah, I’m pretty sure early October or late September I’m going to try and get up there for an unofficial visit,” Andrew Harrison told SNY.tv Wednesday from the Elite 24 game in Venice Beach, Calif.

The twins are considering Kentucky, Maryland, Baylor, Villanova and SMU and said they had no specific visit dates set.

Andrew said it was possible they wouldn’t visit anywhere besides SMU since they’ve already seen the other schools.

“I’m not sure because I visited those schools quite a few [times] so I’m not sure,” Andrew said.

They picked Oct. 29 to announce because it’s the day following their birthday.

“Our birthday is Oct. 28 but it’s a Sunday so we normally take Sundays off,” Andrew said.

“We’re just really ready to make a decision so we can just get it over with and enjoy our senior year.”

As for the game, they are hoping just to have fun.

“We have nothing to prove,” Aaron said. “We’re just coming out there to have fun. Come out here and enjoy California and enjoy the game.”
