Jordan Mickey is currently visiting LSU and plans to hit Oklahoma State and SMU next week before ultimately cutting his list at the end of the month.
“We’re still at LSU right now, it’s going great,” James Wright, Jordan’s father, told SNY.tv Friday. “Jordan’s on an unofficial hanging out with some of the basketball players. We came down and watched the football team scrimmage.”
James Wright Jr. is a junior wide receiver at LSU.
The 6-foot-9 Mickey, the Rivals No. 20 power forward in the Class of 2013 out of Arlington (Texas) Grace Prep, will visit Oklahoma State and then SMU next week.
“Actually we’ll be going to Oklahoma State when we get back home,” James Sr. said. “Probably Monday. We’ll come right back and then go to SMU Tuesday.”
As previously reported by SNY.tv, Louisville, Ohio State and SMU are certain to make Mickey’s final list of five or six.
Numerous other schools, including LSU, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Providence, TCU, Arkansas and Alabama are in the mix for the final two or three slots.
