Davon Reed, one of the top shooting guards in the Class of 2013 out of the Princeton (N.J.) Day School, will be contributing periodically to ZAGSBLOG heading into his senior season. Here’s his second entry:
Yesterday was a very big day for me. I turned 17 and I dropped some hot news about my recruiting.
I am now down to a final eight schools in Louisville, UConn, Memphis, Miami, Cincinnati, Xavier, Harvard and Wake Forest.
I feel extremely good about each of the programs. I have developed and great relationship with each of them and I only hope to get farther in the process from this point out.
I see these select schools providing me with a great education, a chance to compete for a national title and opportunity to advance my game to the next level. I am feeling really good about my decision.
Tomorrow I’m heading out to Virginia for the NBA Top 100 Camp. I’m looking forward to going out there and doing what I do best.
I want to return home a better and hungrier player. Just some weeks later I will be head out to the Kevin Durant Skills Academy in Chicago. I’m really going to take advantage of every opportunity and I can’t wait to perform.
