Neil Young & Crazy Horse have announced their first tour dates since 2004 in support of their new album Americana.
Patti Smith and Los Lobos will open on various dates.
The album, which hits stores June 5, features the band doing what Rolling Stone has called “gritty, ragged and rocking renditions of American folk classics” such as “Oh! Susanna,” “Gallows Pole” and “This Land Is Your Land,” plus a stomping, album-closing version of “God Save the Queen.”
“They’re songs we all know from kindergarden,” Young has said of the album. “But Crazy Horse has rearranged them, and they now belong to us.”
