Shumpert, Brooks Make NBA All-Rookie Teams

Knicks rookie guard Iman Shumpert was named to the NBA All-Rookie Team, while Nets rookie MarShon Brooks made the second team.

Shumpert, out of Georgia Tech, averaged 9.5 points, 2.8 assists and 1.7 steals and was the team’s best perimeter defender.

Brooks, from Providence, averaged 12.6 points, third-best among rookies, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
