Amile Jefferson to Announce Tuesday

Amile Jefferson will make his long-awaited college announcement on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Philly Friends Central High School, his high school coach told SNY.tv.

The NCAA late signing period ends Wednesday.

“The process has been long and tough, for sure,” the 6-foot-8, 200-pound Jefferson told the Philly Inquirer. “But it’s time for me to make a decision. I have to do it.”

Jefferson is considering N.C. State, Duke, Villanova, Kentucky and Ohio State.

“I’m still looking at all the schools on my list,” he told the paper.

  • Did he actually say uk was on his list to you? sites have them on his list but thats just because they arent updated, he removed them months ago after he visited. If he told you there still on it i believe it but it seems like every article is about how much you want recruits to goto uk and I thought this was a NY based site. I remember a noel article were you asked his teamates to tell him to goto uk and other articles, that show recruits talking over theyre recruitment and you just plug the uk part and make that the story, but then if you goto another site and read the entire transcript the kids talk mainley about a syracuse or a nc state or whatever as there favorites and then say just a little bit about uk. I dont know its just somthing thats always bothered me, if writing about a recruit include all the schools they talk about instead of just the uk parts, you may be a big fan but this is not a uk based site

  • Wow, chill out. So he might not be interested in UK anymore. I doubt many would consider this a “UK site”. In any case, there’s alot of UK fans out there. If you don’t believe me, check out the Animal Planet channel.
