Memphis’s Thomas 50/50 on Returning

Memphis freshman forward Adonis Thomas is undecided about whether he’ll return to campus or declare for the NBA Draft, head coach Josh Pastner told SNY.tv.

“He is 50/50 and has no timetable on when he makes his decision,” Pastner said.

Thomas is No. 32 on the DraftExpress.com list of Top 100 prospects.

The NCAA’s deadline to declare for the draft is April 10, while the NBA early-entry deadline is April 29.

The 6-foot-6 Thomas averaged 9.0 points and 3.3 rebounds this season, but missed nearly two months with ankle surgery. He returned to play in the postseason and scored six points in Memphis’ second-round NCAA Tournament loss to St. Louis.

Memphis sophomore Will Barton last week declared for the draft and is listed at No. 44 on the DraftExpress list.
