Anthony Bennett Breaks Down Top Schools

In this interview with Five Star Basketball, Findlay Prep forward Anthony Bennett breaks down his Top 5 of Kentucky, Florida, Oregon, Washington and UNLV.

“My mom really likes [Florida and Kentucky],” he said.

One of the more intriguing things he said was that Kentucky told him they could have as many as seven scholarships available next year, “so I would have a good chance to start right away.”

Kentucky only has three players signed for 2012 — Archie Goodwin, Willie Cauley and Alex Poythress — meaning they could take as many as four players in the spring.

The Wildcats are involved with Bennett, Shabazz Muhammad, Devonta Pollard, Tony Parker and Amile Jefferson, so they could make quite a splash in the spring.

As for Florida, Bennett said the coaching staff told him they could develop his game so he can “play inside/out.”

Bennett will wait until the college season is over to decide.

“I feel like I should just take my time,” he said.
