Amar’e Going ‘Hunting’ for LeBron, D-Wade

NEW YORK — Amar’e Stoudemire is going “hunting” for LeBron and D-Wade.

Or presumably for their Eastern Conference championship.

So he said to teammate Josh “Jorts” Harrellson in half-joking fashion after the Knicks beat the Nets 88-82 in exhibition action Wednesday at MSG.

The following interaction in front of their respective lockers was prompted when a reporter asked Harrellson if he’d found a place around the area to go hunting yet.

Harrellson to Stoudemire: “What’s up, fresh?”

Stoudemire: “What’s up, smooth?

Harrellson: “Where we gonna hunt?”

Stoudemire: “We’re gonna hunt in South Florida. You know what we’re gonna hunt down there, right? We’re gonna hunt LeBron and D-Wade. I got the rifle, man.”

The hunt begins Christmas Day when the Knicks host the Celtics in the regular-season opener at MSG.
