Smith-Rivera to Georgetown

As expected, D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera is a Georgetown Hoya.

The 6-foot-2 Oak Hill Academy guard pledged to the Hoyas Saturday over Louisville, Memphis and N.C. State.

“D’Vauntes is a versatile player who can play either on or off the ball,” Oak Hill coach Steve Smith said. “He is a strong guard at 6-2 and currently weighs 225 pounds. He can score and create off the dribble and has great 3-point range. He also is a lock-down defender.”
