Danuel House Stars in Orlando

One player who really put on a show in Orlando was Danuel House.

The 6-foot-6 small forward from Missouri City (Texas) Hightower was named Player of the Game after putting up 24 points on 9 of 24 shooting and nine rebounds in Texas Pro’s 79-77 OT victory Monday over the Dallas Stars.

House was a high-flyer with several acrobatic dunks and layups, including a hesitation floater over 6-8 Alex Poythress in which he paused in midair before flipping in the basket.

In this video interview done at the LeBron James Skills Academy, House said he’s considering Houston, Baylor, Texas, Cal, Colorado, Missouri, Louisville and Arizona.

“I’m going to cut it down when I get home after this last period of basketball,” he said.

House said Baylor, Houston, Louisville and Missouri are recruiting him the hardest.

“I’ll still be a scorer, but a better passer and defender and a rebounder [when I get to college],” House said.
