AKRON, Ohio — Ricky Ledo is here at the LeBron James Skills Academy and the former Providence commit brought a long list of schools with him.
Kentucky, UConn, Providence, Texas, Syracuse, Arizona and Florida were the ones he mentioned.
Yet the 6-foot-6 Providence native singled out Kentucky and said he planned to take a visit sometime soon.
“I’m going to go out and see Kentucky for sure,” he said. “Other than that, I’m not sure yet….I was supposed to go visit a while ago and I didn’t make it.
“I like that school, Coach Cal and Coach ‘O’ [Orlando Antigua], just the atmosphere of the school.”
As for reports that Ledo will play with the 2012 Puerto Rican Senior National Team, he declined comment.
“I don’t know about that,” said Ledo, whose father is Puerto Rican. “I’ve seen reports about that. I’m not sure yet…As of now I’m not playing with them, so I just don’t know what I’m going to do yet.”

Book needs a Top20 recruit from the East.

Remember back for the 2010 class and UK had zero recruits at this time. All the “experts” claimed UK has “zero recruits” for a reason. Where did UK end up in the rankings that year? Oh yeah….the same spot they have been the past 3 years…..#1.
Cal and UK are the talk of these events. Players get nervous in front of Cal and coaches want to know where Cal is at to know who he is looking at.

if thats the only thing that matters then how many years in your programs history has been a failure then? how many years dont matter? uk is the greatest college basketball program of all time, if not, certainly top 3. and there is no debate on it. in its entire history spanning 80+ years it has only won a title 7 times. 2nd most. do you seriously believe a top 3 program of all time had 75 years that didnt matter?
if you really believe that, then you are really stupid. if you are just trying to take a quick, predictable shot because deep down you hate uk, cal and are a bit jealous and too proud to admit it….cool have at it.
BTW….ledo is a cat if Cal wants him.
