Big East/SEC Challenge Sked

As first reported here in December, the Big East/SEC Challenge will expand to 12 games this year.

Four Big East teams were omitted this year: Marquette, South Florida, Notre Dame and Villanova.

Here is the complete schedule:

Georgetown at Alabama
Providence at South Carolina
St. John’s at Kentucky
Ole Miss at DePaul

Friday, Dec. 2
Auburn at Seton Hall
Florida at Syracuse
Cincinnati at Georgia
Vanderbilt at Louisville

Saturday, Dec. 3
Arkansas at Connecticut
West Virginia at Mississippi State
LSU at Rutgers
Pittsburgh at Tennessee

**Rutgers will also participate in the Cancun Challenge with seven other teams, including Illinois. Here’s the website.

**Seton Hall’s home games include the season opener vs. St. Francis (N.Y.) on Saturday, Nov. 12, Yale on Tuesday, Nov. 22, Saint Peter’s on Saturday, Nov. 26, NJIT on Tuesday, Dec. 6, Wake Forest on Saturday, Dec. 10 and Mercer on Sunday, Dec. 18.
