Providence and Cincinnati are the top two teams in the mix for 6-foot-5 shooting guard Sean Kilpatrick of Notre Dame Prep.
“The two visits he now has scheduled are Cincinnati and Providence,” Notre Dame Prep coach Ryan Hurd said Monday. “I don’t anticipate any other visits at this time.”
Hurd said Kilpatrick will visit Cincinnati this coming weekend and Providence the weekend of Oct. 24.
“Sean is going to Cincinnati this weekend,” he said. “The paperwork has been finalized. He’s still going to visit Providence at the end of the month.”
“His first choice would be Providence,” Gerard Jones, Kilpatrick’s adviser, said previously. “That would be his No. 1 school right now. ”
Kilpatrick averaged 25.6 points last season and was selected to the Jordan Brand Classic Regional Game at Madison Square Garden. He committed to St. John’s in the spring, but then changed his mind.

, 6-foot-6, 210-pound small forward from Wolfeboro (NH) Brewster Academy ranked No. 26 among small forwards in the Class of 2009, visited Baylor this past weekend and is considering Baylor, Oregon State and Rutgers.
Crump has now visited Baylor and Oregon State and will come to Rutgers Oct. 14.
“Givon said he liked his visit (to Baylor),” Mark Matthew, his AAU coach, said in a text message. “Many positives, few negatives. He has to talk to (Brewster coach) Jason Smith and his parents. He wants to make his choice soon.
“He’s going to take a long look at Rutgers before making a choice.”
