Lindsey Down to 4 Schools

Nurideen Lindsey enjoyed his time at St. John’s for Midnight Madness but says he has a top four list of schools to choose from.

“Kentucky, Auburn, Oklahoma State and St. John’s is what I narrowed it down to,”  the 6-foot-4, 185-pound guard from Redlands Community College in El Reno, Okla., said by text.

Lindsey, a schoolboy star at Overbrook High in Philly, says he has offers from all four schools.

St. John’s has long been considered the favorite to land Lindsey, who maintains a strong relationship with assistant coach Tony Chiles.

Lindsey was one of many players to attend Friday’s Midnight Madness and said he enjoyed it.

“IT was cool,” he said. “A lot of people came out and showed their support.”

Lindsey left campus to return to Redlands for a game today.

As for when he’ll decide, Lindsey said, “I’m not sure. Maybe sometime within the next week or so.”
