Knicks Call Anthony Randolph a ‘Project’

GREENBURGH, N.Y. — When the Knicks traded All-Star forward David Lee to the Golden State Warriors for three players last summer, the marquee name they got in return was Anthony Randolph.

But with the Knicks set to play back-to-back games this weekend against the Boston Celtics in Hartford, Conn., and the Washington Wizards at Madison Square Garden, the 6-foot-11 Randolph is being called a “project” and has not even locked up a spot in the starting lineup.
