UCLA, ‘Nova Visiting Quinn Cook; Lindsey, Harrison to Decide Soon

Today will be a busy day at Oak Hill Academy.

UCLA head coach Ben Howland and Villanova assistant Jason Donnelly are both scheduled to visit senior point guard Quinn Cook, sources said.

Cook, who is primarily considering Duke, UCLA, Villanova and Kansas, visits Duke Friday, along with Austin Rivers and Quincy Miller.

Cook’s Oak Hill teammate, Ben McLemore, trips to Kansas on Friday.

Also, Jabarie Hinds of Mount Vernon said UCLA assistant coach Scott Duncan will be in today to watch him lift and work out.

LEWIS VISITS RUTGERS

Alex Kline reports that Greg Lewis, a 6-foot-9 Center out of Baltimore, visited Rutgers unofficially over the weekend.

“Everything went well,” he said. I witnessed a really good game.”

Rutgers beat UConn, 27-24, Friday night in football.

Lewis has a top five of Rutgers, South Florida, Indiana, Maryland and UNC Wilmington and visits Indiana next weekend.

LINDSEY, HARRISON TO DECIDE SOON

Nurideen Lindsey said he will “most likely” attend St. John’s Midnight Madness Oct. 15.

He said he will announce his college choice “possibly this week.”

Dulles (Texas) guard D’Angelo Harrison will announce on Thursday, per his AAU coach, Terrell Henderson. He’s down to St. John’s, Baylor, Marquette & Oklahoma State.
