Two of the top point guards in the Class of 2011 have set their visits and are driving toward a decision.
Jabarie Hinds of Mount Vernon (N.Y.) High will take officials to UNLV (Sept. 17), Oklahoma State (Sept. 24) and West Virginia (Oct. 14).
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Hinds has home visits Thursday with Oklahoma State and Friday with UNLV.
He said UConn and UCLA have both offered and he may still have in-home visits with those schools.
“UConn is trying to work something out also,” he said.
Hinds is the No. 23 point guard in the Class of 2011.
Ky Madden, the No. 4 point guard out of Arkansas East Poinsett County, has also set up several officials.
The 6-foot-5, 170-pound Madden will visit Baylor (Sept. 11), Arkansas (Sept. 17), Ole Miss (Sept. 24) and UConn (Oct. 8). His father, Jerome, said Ky may also visit Oklahoma State “after that.”
