Roy Williams spent a good deal of time at the Peach Jam last week watching 6-foot-10 Chicago Perspectives forward Anthony Davis, but the big man is not returning the love.
“It looks like North Carolina is not going to be in the recruiting process with us,” Anthony Davis Sr. said Friday by phone from the Hoop City Classic in Kansas City.
“Anthony said he doesn’t think it’s going to be a good fit for him and we support whatever decision he makes.”
Anthony Jr. huddled with his father Thursday night to make the decision.
“It was just a decision we made last night,” Anthony Sr. said.
He is still considering three schools — Kentucky, Syracuse and Ohio State.
“They’re all equal,” Anthony Sr. said.
“He said he’s still going through the motions with the three schools. He’s still gonna take a couple looks. We should have a decision hopefully soon.”
No visit dates have been set but the father said the family would like to visit all three campuses during Anthony Sr.’s vacation time.
“No dates still as of yet,” he said. “We’re still working on our itinerary.”
They plan to see all three schools, though.
“I think we’re gonna visit all three because my wife and I want to see Ohio State also,” Anthony Sr. said. “We’re gonna take trips to all three of them.”
No timetable has been set on a decision.
“Right now we don’t have a timetable,” he said. “We’re still working on an itinerary, trying to get some dates together and fit it with my vacation time.”

Now, see, Amit was clever. He suggested, danced and played with the subject. He made it fun. Mo Money turned it dark like sour amaretta. A brutish utilitarian who demonstrates no art, he flatly made a bald accusation.
We’re guessing Amit is a much bigger hit with the womens.

I guess Mr. Davis dropped UNC when he found out they were being investigated by the NCAA, plus Kansas under investigation going back to the Roy Williams era, don’t sound good. You know, Roy left Kansas on probation. Anthony, make a smart decision on where you want to go and where you feel you fit best. The BBN would love to see you wear the blue & white of the KENTUCKY WILDCATS if you feel at home there. It’s up to you & your family Big Guy
