Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will both announce Wednesday their plans to play for the Miami Heat, reports ESPN’s Chris Broussard, citing “a person with knowledge of the situation”
Broussard added on ESPN Wednesday morning that LeBron James could end up joining the duo in South Beach
“There has to be a great chance that [LeBron] goes to Miami,” Broussard said on SportsCenter. “It could be all three going to Miami because they’ve definitely been talking about that for a few weeks now.”
The Heat have about $43 million in cap space, meaning they could sign two max-contract guys and still have about $11 remaining for a third star.
In his ESPN.com story, Broussard said, “It was not immediately clear whether Bosh will sign with Miami outright or join the Heat through a sign-and-trade deal. Bosh could earn $125 million over six years via sign-and-trade, but only $96 million over five without it.”
“Either way, he’s definitely going to Miami,” a source told Broussard.
