John Wall, the projected No. 1 pick in next month’s NBA Draft, has signed with agent Dan Fegan of Blue Entertainment Sports Television, according to multiple reports.
The 6-foot-4 Wall is seen as a transcendent personality who can captivate fans and also sell a variety of products, including sneakers. BEST will collaborate with another firm to handle Wall’s marketing rights.
Adrian Wojnarowksi of Yahoo! Sports reported that LeBron James’ fledgling marketing company, LRMR, was in talks to bring Wall aboard, but DraftExpress.com said LRMR will not be BEST’s collaborative partner.
Fegan represents a number of basketball stars, including Spanish point guard Ricky Rubio and Dallas Mavericks forward Shawn Marion and guard Jason Terry, according to Business First.
Fegan has also recently signed Orlando Magic guard Courtney Lee, Los Angeles Clippers big man Drew Gooden, Utah Jazz center Kyrylo Fesenko, Denver Nuggets wing Joey Graham and Sacramento Kings guard Kevin Martin.
Lagardère, the French media conglomerate, is in discussions to buy BEST, which could immediately allow the company to compete with heavyweights Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and Wasserman Media Group (WMG).

Wall was quoted as saying:
“I picked Dan Fagan, because i wuz told he is good with the moneys. I wuz takin’ classes in school about moneys, but me and my boys didn’t really go to class. So I don’t know much about smart spendin’, Fagan says he does, so I went wit him.”
These kids are an embarrassment to the NCAA.

Players don’t need to know how to spell in the NBA. Only a true idiot would have thought for one second that these one-and-dones would have gone to class a lot and actually tried. From the moment Wall and Cousins and Bledsoe set foot on campus, they knew they were going to the NBA after one season.

yes and the 3 and 4 year players go on to be engineers, doctors and lawyers with their degrees in communication and general studies. clearly they have superior minds.

Always something with you people, first it’s Lebron and WWW has Wall locked up and that’s why he goes to UK, so much for a conspiracy theory signs with BEST which is not connected to WWW or Lebron- so much for all that.
then he goes and gets a 3.0 but doesn’t go to class.
You people are flat out crazy!

Bean you are an embarrassment for talking like that about a KID

I don’t know how/why that was said. My post was in reference to his Wall comment. I was actually defending UK, not bashing it

Coach Cal said the grade point averages will go up in the spring semester, Duh, all the one and done kids will be out of school on the way to the NBA therefore no grades.

where is he quoted saying this?

theFinger, DocBean is just spreading ignorance with his fake quote. Had he any knowledge of the situation he would know that wall had a 3.4 gpa and is a role model of a student athlete and the only person who is an embarrassment is DocBean himself for implying that every african american kid who is good enough to play in the NBA is uneducated.
If DocBean want’s to educate himself a bit more about Wall to avoid further displaying his own ignorance he can start by reading the article below.
“CNNSI writer Grant Wahl twittered out today that John Wall had a 3.4 GPA first semester, which was the highest on the team of the starters. In addition, Wall plans on taking a full 15 hour course load again this Spring, thus cancelling out the argument of the Bobby Knights of the world who suggested he would take no classes second semester. We have known for some time that Wall was taking his academics seriously, even though he realistically doesnt need to, and it showcases again just what a fine kid he is, in addition to his basketball talent.”

It’s amazing that the stories that get the most comments are the one’s that have to deal with Kentucky Basketball, Ky Basketball Recruits/players or Coach Cal. It’s obvious that the rest of the nation is just plain jealous when it comes to our Big Blue Nation.
However when you are at the top, you have the program with the most wins and the best coach—you are always going to get the negative and by the comments that this site gets… it shows everyone wants to talk about Kentucky.
Why don’t you all just convert over and join our Big Blue Nation! You spend more time reading and commenting about our team vs. any other team. Jealously will get you know where? Go Big Blue!!!!!!!!!!!
