NEW YORK (NBA.com exclusive) — With about five minutes left in the Nets’ 113-93 victory Saturday over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, a fan wearing a No. 6 LeBron James Knicks’ jersey stood up and made a boisterous announcement to the fans behind him.
“We want LeBron. Let’s go. We want LeBron,” he shouted.
After this latest performance by the Knicks, landing James via free agency this summer is about all their fans have to look forward to.
