
“It adds a great game-day atmosphere for our fans,” said Jason Baum, Rutgers assistant athletic director for communications. “I think the general public will be thrilled.”
Food is served from two buffet lines and a cash bar includes Coors Light, Blue Moon, Yuengling and Sam Adams Octoberfest on tap. Additional indoor flat screen TVs and various lounges will eventually allow fans to keep up with the baseball playoffs and other sporting events while the football games are being played.
The price of a club seat is $3,150 per seat and a four-seat loge box is $17,600. A portion of the ticket cost is paid in the form of a charitable contribution. For a club seat, the contribution is $2,500 and for the loge box, it is $15,000.
