Lykes averaged 23. 6 points per game two weeks ago at the EYBL stop in Atlanta, which included a 33-point performance in a tough 82-76 loss to CP3.

Lykes was one of the top players in the DMV this past year, averaging 22 points, 4.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game. He shot 47.3 percent from 3-point range, and was named the WCAC Player of the year.

“I took a lot of leadership skills away from last season,” Lykes told SNY.tv recently. “My sophomore year, I had Bryant Crawford (now at Wake Forest) to learn from, but last year I played the point guard spot, and I learned a lot from playing that position this year.”
