Amid March Madness, Chris Christie Invents M&M Madness

PHILADELPHIA –– You’ve heard of March Madness, well Chris Christie has invented M&M Madness.

(Shoutout to my man Billy Diamond for coming up with that one.)

The Gov. of New Jersey sat courtside Friday night at Wells Fargo Center for the Notre Dame-Wisconsin game and was pictured pouring a small big of M&Ms into a bigger container of M&Ms. (Pete Blackburn took the epic photo.)

If there’s one thing this guy needs, it’s obviously more M&Ms.

Unless of course it’s popcorn

Christie’s daughter, Sarah, is a Notre Dame team manager and Christie is friends with Irish coach Mike Brey.

“He only shows up for the big games,” Brey cracked Sunday in Brooklyn after the Irish edged Stephen F. Austin. “He’ll be there in Philly — if Trump will let him.”

Christie has been seen frequently with Donald Trump since dropping his own Presidential bid, with some speculating he’s angling for the Attorney General gig.

“We’ve been fans for 16 years at Notre Dame and now our daughter’s one of the student-managers for the men’s team so we have even more invested now,” Christie said in the locker room in Brooklyn.
