Bosnian guard Harun Zrno has committed to Indiana for the 2025-26 season.
The 6-foot-7 sharpshooter chose the Hoosiers over Creighton, Wisconsin and Virginia.
“[The] visit was outstanding,” the 6-foot-7, 205-pound Zrno told ZAGSBLOG after meeting with head coach Mike Woodson and the staff earlier this month. “My first time in USA. Indiana is a school with lots of history and I was very impressed. My role would be to come in and play right away because of my experience. [The] coaching staff was amazing, they are a great group of people.”
Asked what stood out on the visit, Zrno mentioned being in famed Assembly Hall.
“That arena Indiana is playing at it stood out and [the] fans who are very passionate about the Hoosiers,” he said.
The 6-foot-7, 20-year-old plays for Slavija Istocno Sarajevo in Bosnia’s Division I. He’s averaging 19.4 points, 3.8 assists and 3.7 rebounds while shooting 63% from the field and 47% from deep. He’s gone for 20+ twice this season.
As for what skilset he’ll bring to college, Zrno said: “Everyone is looking at me as a shooter but I bring a lot more than just shooting the ball. I like to play defense hard, attack off the dribble and find my teammates for easy plays. I learned how to play with the ball and I like having the ball in my hands. Anything to do in order for my team to win the games.”
