joe crawford nba.comThe Knicks on Thursday waived guard Joe Crawford and forward/center Chris Hunter, bringing their roster to 14 players.

Crawford, a 6-5, 210-pound guard, averaged 4.5 points and 2.0 rebounds after signing with New York as a free agent on March 27. During the preseason he averaged 3.3 points and 1.0 rebound.

Chris Duhon led New York with 21 points and David Lee and Wilson Chandler scored 11 apiece.

Chris Douglas-Roberts dropped in a game-high 26 for the Nets (0-6), who will shoot for their first win against Philadelphia on Friday at St. John’s Carnesecca Arena.
