Marcus Adams Jr., a four-star in the class of 2024 and the No. 4 player out of California, has committed to Kansas, he announced Tuesday.
Adams visited Kansas in February and ultimately chose the Jayhawks over UCLA and Syracuse.
“Coach (Bill) Self and Coach (Kurtis) Townsend are really good people,” Adams said to On3 Sports. “They told me they want me and need me. Coach Self said he wants to coach me.”
The 6-foot-8 wing becomes the first commit in Kansas’ class of 2024 while they are still in the mix for five-star Dylan Harper and four-stars Isaiah Elohim and Cam Scott, among others.
