Bryant lands shot-maker Aaron Davis who scored 59 in a game

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Aaron Davis a 6-foot-6, 200-pound Class of 2023 wing from Scotland (PA) Campus who scored 59 points in a game last month, committed to Bryant on Saturday.

Hampton, Hofstra, George Washington, Duquesne and SMU were also involved.

“The reason I picked Bryant was because the trust and love has always been there since the beginning of my recruitment process back in 2020,” he said. “They were the first ones to offer me and have stayed in contact with me for the longest.

“My head coach believed that Bryant is the best spot for me to succeed at the next level and I thought the same. The skillset I will bring is that I can knock down a shot at any time, rebound, play defense and overall be a leader for my teammates on and off the court.”

Said Scotland Campus coach Tony Bergeron: “Aaron Davis is a high-major shot-maker. The 6-6 wing has made over 90 threes in 18 games shooting 44%. He was 17-for-22 in one game. He’s had 6 HALVES where he made 6+ threes.

“He’s a true competitor and that’s vital playing for Jared Grasso. It’s a perfect match.”
