Class of 2023 four-star guard Taison Chatman cuts list to 5

By SAM LANCE

Class of 2023 four-star combo guard Taison Chatman has cut his list to five, he announced via Twitter Saturday.

The 6-foot-4, 170-pound guard from Totino-Grace (MN) and the D1 Minnesota AAU program, is down to Xavier, Kansas, Minnesota, Ohio State and Virginia.

Prior to cutting his list, Chatman also held offers from the likes of Washington State, Texas Tech, UConn, Baylor, Iowa, Iowa State, LSU, Marquette, Michigan, Northwestern and Nebraska.

He took official visits to Xavier, UConn and Kansas in June.

Chatman led Totino-Grace to its first-ever state championship in school history last season.

Ranked by 247Sports Composite as the No. 11 combo guard and No. 47 overall player in the class of 2023, Chatman currently leads the Adidas 3SSB Circuit 17-U in scoring with 24.1 points per game.
