By JACOB POLACHECK

Five-Star forward Elijah Fisher has committed to Texas Tech and will be reclassifying to join the Red Raiders ahead of the 2022-23 season,

The 6-foot-7, 185-pound Canadian small forward out of Crestwood Prep, is the No. 24 overall player and No. 5 small forward in the 2023 recruiting class, per the 247Sports Composite.

Fisher held offers from Kansas, Kentucky, Florida State and Oregon, among others, but took his only visit to Texas Tech.

He joins four-star guards Lamar Washington and Richard Isaacs Jr. and three-star power forward Robert Jennings in the Red Raiders’ 2022 recruiting class. Texas Tech is also bringing in transfers Jaylon Tyson (Texas), De’Vion Harmon (Oregon), Fardaws Aimaq (Utah Valley) and D’Maurian Williams (Gardner-Webb).
