Jamarion Sharp announces he’ll remain at Western Kentucky

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Jamarion Sharp, the 7-foot-5 big man from Western Kentucky, announced he will remain at his current school instead of transferring.

Sharp averaged 8.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and a nation’s-best 4.6 blocks in 32 games as a junior at Western Kentucky en route to being named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year. He had 148 blocks last season.

Missouri, Houston and Memphis had been linked to Sharp in the Transfer Portal, and ZAGSBLOG previously reported he was expected to land at Missouri. He visited Houston this weekend and was supposed to visit Missouri Tuesday.
