Illinois has in-home visit with former Kentucky commit Skyy Clark

By ADAM ZAGORIA

Illinois coach Brad Underwood and assistant Tim Anderson held an in-home visit Friday with former Kentucky pledge Skyy Clark, sources said.

The 6-foot-3 Montverde Academy (FL) point guard decommitted from Kentucky earlier this month.

He initially committed to Kentucky in October 2020 over North Carolina, UCLA and Memphis. He announced his transfer to prep powerhouse Montverde Academy last May. Clark suffered a torn ACL in July but then worked his way back this season.

Illinois, meantime, is also competing with Kentucky for Texas Tech transfer Terrence Shannon, who just entered the Transfer Portal.
